Emirates Engineering Training College provides basic and aircraft-type maintenance training to Emirates Engineering personnel and other professionals.
Located within the Emirates Engineering Maintenance Centre facility, and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for in-classroom and practical workshop training led by experienced instructors and practical assessors.
Emirates Engineering Training College, part of Emirates Engineering provides Basic and Aircraft Type Maintenance Training to Emirates Engineering personnel, third party and external customers. Our Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence Training programme is approved by UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and the Aircraft Type training is approved by both UAE GCAA and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence Training is currently provided to UAE Nationals and can also be offered to third party and external customers.
As a holder of GCAA-CAR 147 MTO, we are approved to conduct Basic Module and Sub-Module Examinations as per GCAA-CAR 66.
Emirates Engineering Training is now offering these examinations to self-starter candidates, enabling them to apply for GCAA AMEL in the respective category.
The Practical Maintenance Experience (PME) on operational aircraft in 145 environments to meet the CAR 66 experience requirements of the respective Category of Basic AME Licence can be provided on case-to-case basis.
Our Technical courses, classroom training is supplemented by training sessions on the Aircraft Procedural Trainers (APTs). The Maintenance Training Devices (MTDs) are used to demonstrate different aircraft systems during the theoretical and practical sessions and the full flight simulators are also utilised as and when required. In addition, online-distance/synchronous learning for the theoretical training can be provided if required. The instructor-led classroom training can also be provided at any customer location, within or outside UAE, in line with the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE).

During the required training period, trainee will undergo the related theory and practical elements with Emirates Engineering Training College. Subsequently trainee will be posted to approved GCAA/ EASA 145 Emirates Engineering Maintenance Organisation to obtain the required Practical Maintenance Experience (PME) on live aircraft.
On successful completion of the PME and having met all related requirements, the trainee will be able to apply for the respective category licence at UAE GCAA.
