Audit programs are designed and implemented by Quality Assurance to actively monitor all aspects of compliance of regulatory authorities requirements. They ensure all applicable elements of the quality system are in place, documented, and effectively implemented, in order to assure that the corporate commitment and obligations to regulations, safety policy and quality standards are followed.
Audit programs consist of surveys and operational inspections at predetermined intervals during Emirates' maintenance and engineering activities and functions.
Additionally, audit plans encompass aircraft cabin standards inspections, line stations third party technical handling agent’s audits, material and part suppliers, repair agents and fuelling facilities inspection, IAW IATA Fuel Quality Pool (IFQP), aircraft potable water facilities, inspection and maintaining IAW IATA airport handling manual to the recommendations and standards as set down by the World Health Organisation.
