The Structures section is responsible for providing technical services in support of metallic and composite aircraft structures including passenger doors, flight control surfaces, landing gear structural items, baggage/cargo provisions, exterior markings and landing gear doors.
This section ensures that aircraft structures are maintained and operated to the highest standards of service and technical despatch reliability.
In collaboration with manufacturers, the Structures section also develops and approves structural repairs (SR) for aircraft and components and undertakes repairs in liaison with manufactures of a minor nature not covered by their repair manuals.
