NDT Shop
The NDT Shop carries out NDT inspections on aircraft structures and components using the Magnetic Particle, Fluorescent Penetrant, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic methods of inspection as well as Calibration Labs.
The role of the NDT Shop is to support Base and Line Maintenance and other workshops by performing scheduled and unscheduled inspections on aircraft structures and components
to ensure their integrity and airworthiness.
In addition, the NDT Shop is also responsible for periodic weighing of aircraft and maintaining aircraft weight records.
The workshop is equipped with the latest equipment to provide accurate and consistent results. All inspections are performed to approved and documented procedures. All NDT personnel are approved to internationally recognised standards.
