The function of the Base Maintenance department is to carry out all routine scheduled maintenance tasks and any unscheduled major repairs, replacements and modifications to the Emirates fleet.
This usually involves planned maintenance inputs extracted from the applicable Approved Maintenance Schedule including replacement of time expired equipment, component repair, modifications and any specific inspections, which may be required in accordance with GCAA approvals.
