The Emirates Group is constantly launching new destinations in new countries every year and it is the responsibility of the Emirates Engineering Outstation teams to respond to the challenges this increasingly diverse network creates. Our core competencies in engineering excellence ensure that the Emirates wheel and hub route network is efficiently and effectively supported from wherever the airline chooses to operate.
We employ our own team of engineers and mechanics at 30 Outstations around the world to provide support to the complete range of aircraft and engines operated from our own internationally approved Line Maintenance facilities. In 12 of these stations we extend support to other customer airlines.
Each of our Outstations are supported by Station Maintenance Managers and Country Managers who provide the necessary oversight to ensure that the station's performance is maintained to the highest levels of safety, reliability and expectation.
At other stations we employ the services of strategic partners chosen from a selected group of airlines and MRO’s on the basis of their ability to provide superior levels of technical services. They are selected as a result of holding their own internationally recognised levels of excellence and their ability to meet our exacting standards and service delivery requirements.
Two Regional Maintenance Managers manage the entire Emirates Engineering Outstation network. Their role is to open new stations and develop relationships that support our expanding route network. They are also involved in creating new business opportunities where our own activities match those of our customers. Liaising closely with internal customers, they ensure a fully integrated operation exists, enabling commercial operations to not only function flawlessly but to expand and flourish.
